Experience

I am a writer, teacher, tutor, and editor with over a decade of experience working with students from first grade through graduate school. I have taught undergraduate writing, directed a college tutoring program, and currently teach high school literature, creative writing, and composition. As a tutor, I have worked with students across all disciplines to strengthen their writing. I am particularly skilled at identifying students' strengths and areas of need, and helping them identify tools and strategies to boost their confidence in their own writing. I enjoy working with students on all kinds of writing assignments, from literature essays to creative writing to applications and resumes. I am especially interested in helping students with the college admissions essay.
